Oregon 168M Late muzzleloader deer tag help needed

Anyone out there familiar with the N. E. portion of the Whitehorse unit in Oregon? Any info on camping sites, glassing locations, or migration routes would be greatly appreciated. Hunt starts 11/18...so time is of the essence.

kinda cruised thru there a few weeks ago,but just main hwy between burns and vale,,,fairly open hillsides,rocks,sage brush,,,herd that population densidys are fairly low,,but there are whoppers out there somewhere,,good luck,ive been eyeballing that hunt myself to maybe draw in a few years as my points build close.seen a few 2 tracks into blm off the main hwy,,might be a bit rough for a travel trailer to pull into,so hard to tell for camp spots.

I had the hunt in ‘05. Back then I burned 5 points. I saw hundreds of deer and very few bucks. I shot a 22” 4 Point, the biggest buck I saw in 7 days. That same year a friend shot a nice 170 class buck. He drew again last year cashing in 11 points and after 5 days went home with his tag in his pocket. I decided after my experience there in ‘05 it wasn’t worth waiting 5 years for, let alone 12. I mentioned bringing fire wood, coldest hunt I’ve ever been on. My buck froze solid overnight.

So how'd you do? The weather wasn't your friend for that hunt.
I hope there were some good resident bucks for you to hunt if the migration was later.
