Just got back, put about 10 miles on yesterday and saw three different groups of cows. Weather is very hot, bulls aren't bugling at all and even the wallows have not been hit very hard yet. Hopefully next weekend will be better. I'll take the last two weeks off of work and hit it hard when they get a little rutty.

Our archery elk hunt ends on the 12th of September, Utah sucks! The bulls are just starting to rut a little the last few days. We (bow hunters) wanted another week added on to the hunt years ago and they said ok and gave us another week on the start of the hunt. Makes it hard hunting but hey it's hunting.
