Opening Day

With an antelope hunt in the books and deer and elk on the horizon I sure can't wait for the duck opener next weekend in Colorado! Gotta love that the northern front range zone opens! Hope to have pics! Good luck to anyone that makes it out!

Be huntin some creeks this weekend . Hopefully the teal will still be around the one hole they like to frequent. Small creek hunting is about all I get anymore, but the jump shooting sure is fun! Miss my labs though, duck hunting just isn't the same without one along.

October 8th is my opening day here. The lull between early teal and big duck season seems so long.... Very ready to get back to the marsh!

Agree on the dog aspect wy-tex. It wouldn't be the same without one. They add so much to the hunt!

We managed to shoot a few this morning! It was a decent northern front range opener! Look close, my buddy picked up one with jewelry! Fun to be out!

But when the time comes I am sure you will have a picture with a pile as well! This was our Northern front range opener. Rest of the state opens this weekend for the most part. It was nice to get out!

Went out scouting ducks last night. Didn't see a single duck on my favorite two marshes. Water levels are low but we are getting a heavy rain right now. Hope this cold front brings in some birds for the opener this Saturday...
