Wondering if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong. I have tried to use the offline maps mode for the app with my iPhone 2 times in 2 different states and each time I lose phone service and switch to offline maps I can't view the map. I have saved the maps at the house as instructed with wifi saving less than 10 tiles per map. Once I no longer have phone service, I switch to offline maps and select the map but it's always just a grey screen with my gps location and a red arrow.

Try turning it to offline before you lose service, after I'm done loading my stuff I turn it to offline, another thing to try is zooming in, I've found if it zoomed to far out it's a grey screen

Have you tried asking OnXmsps? I'm guessing if this is an they would want to trouble shoot it. It's one of my biggest concerns about switching to the iPhone. I currently use my gps.

I have read several reviews that said they had trouble getting in touch with them so I figured I would just ask here first incase I was missing something obvious. I still bring my gps also for this reason.

Well apparently waiting until I lost service to turn on offline maps was the problem. It worked perfect today for the first time. The long beard I was after didn't work so well. I also deleted the app and re-installed, along with downloading the maps again. Can't thank you enough!!
