I am really on the fence about taking this buck on opening day. I know they are crappy pictures but please give me some input what do you guys think. already have meat in the freezer so I figured I would try and go after a big buck this year.

Thanks Zack

All depends on where your hunting and the quality of deer there. Some places that would be a beast, where others average to below average. If you have seen bigger in scouting hunt bigger, if you haven't and he presents an opportunity, kill him.

I agree with tdub24. I think that I would take him if given the opportunity just about anywhere. If your happy with him, take him.

As long as it makes you happy you should take it. Hunting to the expectations or opinions of someone else would not be for me.

kzkammo- My best advice is to live in the moment. Enjoy your time hunting and when opportunities present, make your decision. I have taken some smaller bucks because the situation just felt right. Some deer that I am the most proud of aren't my biggest bucks. I have also passed on some bigger animals because I wasn't ready to be done... all in the moment.
