Just learned about this. Ironsight, Inc. bills itself as "the world's foremost repair station for Weaver scopes". Supposedly, Ironsight bought all of the parts and remaining inventory of the Weaver El Paso scopes. They even have some new in the box old model scopes. Got this from a fellow hunter, who was trading in an old model Weaver on a new in the box old model K-6. Passing it along for what it is worth.

Great post! I have an old Weaver 3x on a Savage lever action that was my grandfathers. I have always thought about putting a new scope on it but that thing is a tac driver. That scope and gun have been to hell and back and I have never touched the windage or elevation on it. They are just great old scopes!!!

I have my Dad's old Remington 742 with a Weaver V-9, as well as an H & R UltraRifle that I bought in 1967, and topped with a Weaver V-8 (external adjustment). I am leaving both of them "as is" because the scopes are period correct for the rifles. I have a feeling the old steel tube Weavers will one day be in high demand, so I will hang onto mine. Suggest you do the same.
