All,
I am trying to locate the old rubber scope covers made from what was sheet rubber like an inner tube ? They were simple and effective at keeping trail dust off the lenses, especially when working from a scabbard.
Does anyone know where to find them ?
I've considered but never used the neoprene models, they look like they would drag in a scabbard ...any thoughts?

We actually just made ours out of old truck tubes. I didn't know that you could buy them anywhere.

I liked them just for the fact that you could get them off with just a flick of your thumb. You might need to go looking for them afterwards but they came off fast.

Have you tried the Butler Creek scope caps?

I just looked on Amazon and Ebay and both offer some kind of rubber scope cover. Just do a search on them for "rubber scope cover"

I got one of those on a Remington 597 with a 3x9 Remington branded scope. I've had a couple of those in the past, but I forget who the manufacturer was.

I have little plastic condiment dishes with a short bungee cord holding them together over most of my scopes....thrifty, I know lol
