Oil and gas land access

Guys, this has been bugging me for quite awhile. What are the access laws pertaining to these oil and gas lands leased throughout the state?? I see it mentioned in GoHunt about roads being opened up by the OG companies. Im specifically referring to the areas around Thunder Basin Ntl Grassland for a antelope chase in the near future. Good luck in the draws tomorrow, this is the first year i skipped due to an AZ deer hunt and CO deer hunt

If there's a road on public land, would it not be public?

You are describing a county maintained road.. wyoming is so effed up with access im getting a headache just thinking about it.

I live in Wyoming, and drive on the exact roads your explaining. Unless it crosses private, then at that point it's a private road, it's wise open to drive on.
On rare occasions due to safety reasons I have seen some signs put up, traditionally I would heed that warning.

Yeah but what about all the stuff with rigs built on it that isnt public ie ntl grasslands? Is it still considered private off limits or is it now open bvmc the rigs are out there

If it's on private land, its private. Unless it's a maintain county road.
