Hi everyone, I am a hunter originally from the East Coast that now stays out in Los Angeles. I have become fascinated with the spot and stalk type of hunting done out here and have become really excited about the idea of actively hunting instead of ambushing trails like I am used to. I had no idea people even hunted like that until a couple years ago and it is an amazing prospect. I only have one western hunt under my belt but I try to research as much as I can before this next season and hopefully will have more than one opportunity this year to take home some game meat. Until then I will be training to go deep into the backcountry and collecting more gear to facilitate that.
