NV bear opens next week!

Well its looking like the bear season is basically done. With the snow and freezing temps they are denned up for a good while. I've been out looking for cat tracks and keeping my eyes open for the unlikely bear track. Went out today and other than rabbits and an occasional deer nothing has been moving much in my neck of the woods. Cats is #1 on the agenda now, sure wish we could have filled that 3rd bear tag but 2 for 3 ain't bad in NV.. There's still the chance we could come across a bear this late but its a chance. LION TIME!

I should say, we had a blast and I'm truely greatful to the fellas that let me help them with there bear tags. Every moment, good or bad is something to remember and I'm greatful. Thank you, hope we can do it again next year!

I have really enjoyed following along with your bear hunting story this year Jason. It was like reading an on going book that wasn't finished yet. From the sounds of it 2 out of 3 is a pretty good year but I have a feeling you may add a cat or two to the list. Good luck man!
