Heard from another friend today they took 2 B&C Bears and a couple other since opener. Must be a great year for big bruins

Way to go this week, had a blast. Dogs all did good,and we saw some nice bears. Figured i better hop on here since this is where all the cool guys hang out. When you toss up your pictures I'll put up the ones we caught for Kevin if I can figure out how. Tim, Mark nice to see you again.

I'm gonna be honest. This first week wasn't as tough as the normal routine. We woke up early Thursday and headed back into the area of the first bear. Had dogs rigged on top of the box and my buddy with his dog on his quad ahead of us. 1/2 way down the road dogs blew up and started barking like crazy. We turned dogs out and after a decent race and U.S. Flipping out Riggs around we could hear dogs barking treed. We were able to navigate a 2 track road up and get parallel with the dogs. From that point we sidehilled over. 1/4 mile to find MAKS bear high in a pinion and dogs singing to him. After looking him over and discussing it we all agreed he was a big bear and a keeper. MAK made the exact shot that was needed and dropped his big boar.

Mike B. was in camp with us and took a nice bear with his Hunter. He's a hell of a hound guy.

So this weekend Mike, Joe and myself will be teaming up to run. I've got some dogs out due to the rough bear catching week we had and Mike is kind enough to help me out. We are gonna run one of Mikes tags Saturday and hopefully fill it and get my tag out Sunday. Should be another fun filled action packed episode of "let's catch a bear".
