Heading out next Friday to chase Mulies. Never hunted them before. The unit doesn't have high country. Where yo start? Not looking for a monster...just a fun hunt!

It would help to know the unit you plan to hunt. If you have done some map recon then I would be looking for river bottoms, drainages and areas of trees or thickets where they can bed. You can also try to give the warden in the area a call for some pointers. Good luck.

There may not be high country but if you can get on top of some ridges or peaks and do some glassing you may find them moving around before they bed or when they get up from there bed. Sit and watch and maybe you can put one to bed that you can stalk.
