Still can't buy whiskey in TX on Sunday and beer sales start at noon...counties can still vote to vary the times, but not the Sunday Whiskey sales. Hunting on Sundays in the East is similar on being religious and resting on the Sabbath. We could legally hunt on Sundays, but parents wouldn't allow it.

Washington might tax you to death on alcohol and tobacco but you can buy any of it any time the grocery store is open since they got rid of the state liqueur stores a couple years ago.

I believe I have read that some states believed that the game animals needed a break. As we know, nature doesn't give any wild animal a break; just ask the coyote or wolf. Most of what I have read points to Sunday being the day of rest.

PA has very limited Sunday hunting, you can hunt foxes, coyotes and crows and thats it. I know if I had hunting property in PA I would be an habitual law breaker! I thank my lucky stars that my hunting property is in WV and Im in one of the 8 counties that has sunday hunting, because you can bet your bottom dollar I would be breaking that law!

It's tough on Pennsylvania hunters! AND the state has no clue to the lost revenues spent on that one additional day in the week!! No. Clue. Hopefully it has been changed.
