I drew a tag for the last rifle season for bucks. Any suggestions on areas to look? What can I expect to see in terms of size and numbers of bucks? Do you have any pics of the area or bucks from the unit? Thanks for the help,

Congratulations on the tag. I drove through several of the units north of there on my recent scouting trip to New Mexico. Antelope numbers in those areas looked pretty good. The bucks I saw looked pretty large and this was mid March. They still have a lot of growth time. I notice a fair amount of State land might require some walking distance depending on road access. Last rifle season in flat country might be the challenge. There is not much if any cover in a lot of that country. The good thing is not many tags in any of the units so I am not sure how hunting pressure will affect the antelope. Good luck and post about your hunt so us unsuccessful guys can enjoy it.
