NM 2B Jan archery hunt

Any tips for this hunt? I have the usually, its cold, take chains and do lots of glassing and driving. Has anyone hunted it before and how did you do? Also, have the deer migrated from CO yet this year?

My moms side of the family is from that area. The tag is great, so congrats on pulling a tough to draw tag. Some great deer out there, but if it snows, the snow gets really crunchy really quick. Makes it really hard to sneak in on them. My uncles buddy shot a 193 and change up there a couple years ago. As far as the deer migrating, not sure on that one. They should be by the time you are hunting though. Make sure and check the big sage flats at the bottom of canyons in the evenings.
