I found the Nikon Prostaff spotter 20-60-82mm on camofire for a great price! I am in the market for my first scope and want some opinions on this scope. I will use it around home scouting for whitetails and also take it on backpack hunts out west, Does this scope fit both situations? I appreciate the input!

I've got the 16x48 and love it. I used it in Wyoming this year and it worked great. Camofire has the 16x48 too for usually around $300 if you are patient. Personally I'd rather have the smaller one for packing in the mountains. Just my preference though. For the price I would definitely recommend it.
