Nikon Prostaff Sale

For anyone interested, Cabelas has got Nikon Prostaff Spotting Scopes on sale right now. Most of them are $100 off and if anyone has been wanting to buy one, now would be the time. I've been waiting for months for them to go on sale and bought one this morning.

The 16-48x65. I went with the scope only, not the kit. From the reviews on the Cabelas website, it sounds like the tripod is a piece of junk. I will have to buy a different tripod. I looked through one the other day in the store and it was very clear. The reviews for just the scope are also very good.

When you get the scope. could you give a quick review or PM me and let me know what you think of it? It looks like a great scope for the price. i was looking at getting a used Nikon Fieldscope ED50, but they are still $500 plus used. thanks.

Well, so far I think that this is a great scope for the money. Took it out 2 night's ago and the clarity of it was great. Can't imagine you will find a better deal than this scope for around $300. Here are a couple pictures of it with the protective case on it.

Did it come with the case? I ordered one last week all they had left was black, but thats ok. Should be here by Friday. Glad to here you like it , I looked at this scope at Sportsmans Wharehouse a few years back and was impressed...........glad I waited.

Yes it did. It came in the box with it. I didn't even know that came with it so it was a nice surprise.

NDHunter, UPS dropped mine off about an hour ago, WOW! that was fast.....just ordered it Friday, good on Cabelas! I was pleased to see the case with it, as I haden't read your post until after the fact. Everything looks good, since I'm off work today hopefully I'll get a chance to take it out and look around......maybe after all the honey-do's list is done!

I ordered one last week from Cabelas as well and just got it today. I have been playing around with it and it seems very clear and easy to focus. It all looks great and I can't wait to use it in Colorado this fall!!

Went for a ride up the road this afternoon and tried the scope out using my window mount...not bad at all. I mostly looked up some of the canyons above town about 3 miles away during the hottest part of the day when the heat waves are the worst. Everything was clear even at the higher powers, even the edges of the lenses looked good. Can't wait to use it this fall.
