Nikon Is Getting Out of the Hunting Scope Business

I saw on another forum that Nikon is getting out of the hunting scope business. There is all kinds of speculation such as the bird watchers pressured them to get out but who really knows. A member over there checked and it appears that they will still honor their warranties.

So if you are a fan of Nikon there may be some killer deals in the next little while

They softly announced this back in November, little to no coverage on it since.

Be pretty leery of spending any kind of real money on a scope that i'd be shocked they'll warranty in a couple years.

They are junk anyhow in my opinion. Its the only brand of scope I have oficially been able to destrol just by shooting with it attached to a gun.
