dragged that sucker down to the high way whole while they brought truck around the long way. would have beat em to but last couple hundred yards was slight incline and I were gittin pooped, so I waited for hep.

first pic is the view when we first spotted bull. he is over a mile away on top right. just to far for my lil ol cell phone camera. have also called in and killed ,many a coyote from this very spot over the years.

it is all a matter of perspective, I was thinking, not much snow.
without a doubt, less then normal. but we had an above average year last year so it is not surprising to see little this year.

Some of my fondest hunts are my nephews first big game, antelopes.
It's a great feeling

yep. I love the hunts with anybody , when they get their first.
in fact , nowadays ,I would rather ,guide the newbie ,then make the kill myself.

I get much more satisfaction when they succeed then I ever did when I had success.


I also love being the packmule.
I can see the day coming when I will no longer be able to do it but it AIN'T HERE YET.
