We found this guy on Sat opening day of archery season. This is the latest unit that has some good hunting in it. Archery hunt during the rut and weather to keep the bucks moving.
The guy with the tag wanted to give him a go but I had to leave the buck to get him from the base of the mountain I was on. The buck moved off a bit but we hoped he would settle down and bed but we were never able to relocate him.
This season is only open for 10 days so every chance at a good buck should be taken.
