I have been hunting here in Texas for 30 years. An have killed some nice whitetail deer. A couple of years ago the South Texas ranch I was hunting on "chained" about half our pasture. They take a couple of bulldozers an attach a ship chain to each and wreck everything except hardwoods. So I got off that lease an decided to go on some Western hunts. I shot a nice 6x6 elk in Colorado that scored right at 300 B&C on a walk in DIY hunt. I have also been on several guided mule deer hunts but have yet to see a good Muley. I have really enjoyed the experience of hunting out west.
