Hello all,
I've set my sights on finally going west and doing a DIY backpack hunt for Elk. I grew up like most in the midwest preying on whitetails. The thought of elk and living out of a backpack for a few days has finally evolved from a day dream to an obsession. Still a lot to acquire both in information and gear, so I'll be lurking and asking questions as needed.
I'm looking forward to joining this community and all of the adventures ahead!
