You have found yourself a truck that should serve you quite well with a horse of a engine and in my opinion the best one that they put into a Ford truck.

There are a couple of good diesel forums for the Fords out there if you plan on working on it yourself. If you would like them let me know and I'll get you the links.

Thanks! 02 is the last of the 7.3. The best of the best IMO and part of why I choose this truck. Im not new to the 7.3. I have 364,000 miles on my 96

Actually if you were real lucky you could find yourself a early 03 with the 7.3 in it just before they switched over to the 6.0.

I only have 170,000 on my 96 but I wouldn't trade it for any of the new ones out there.

I dont think the early 03's are any different then mine. It has the dash with the digital mileage display like the 03's have. Im not sure when they started that. I thought it was 03 till I saw this truck. It has the manual transfer case shifter too. Your truck is almost new with 170,000 on it!!!

Loved my 99 F350 4x4, powerstroke. Put over 300,000 miles on it. Sold it in 2015, 17 years after I bought it new. Engine & tranny had never been apart, just servicing. Had a couple of issues on trips in 2015 and decided to get a new one as we were planning a 3 month trip to Alaska towing our travel trailer I bought a used 2013 6.0 f350, 4x4 that has been great so far. Truck only had 25k miles on it and was like new. Tows as good as the old 7.3, but a little less mileage.
Hope it does as well as the 99!

Nice. 2003 F250 here. Went with 5.4 as it is my daily driver. 110k. 80 mph all day and will pull the horses when needed.

Funny this one has 257,000 on it too! I wanted one with under 200,000 on it but i couldnt find a reason not to buy this truck. Then I found out he was looking for a new bull and I got him down to $7,000 and 2 miniature bulls I really needed to sell and the deal came together perfectly!!

Those 7.3 I swear are bullet proof! My parents had one growing up and finally sold it with 250,000 miles and nothing major ever went out of that truck. Just had to perform general maintenance and the truck remained solid.
