Hey everyone I'm new to this forum. I'm from Sonoma County. I mainly hunt pigs. Have yet to get anything with me bow but darn it I'm trying.
I've been bummed because I had my appendix removed the Monday before archery season opened.

Welch to the forum. I've enjoyed pig hunting a few times. Good luck with the bow. I haven't tried it yet.

I feel for ya. I had shoulder surgery May 15th and still can't draw my bow. I'm hoping I can in time for B zone season. I also drew an Arizona archery elk tag but I may have to donate that. Lake Sonoma is a great archery hog hunt to stick your first.

Get well soon

Welcome, and yes,the pigs shall pay for your absence! Take your time and heal up before you hit the woods, its a bad place to breakdown.

Thank you all. Have a follow up with the MD tomorrow. Hopefully by this weekend I'll by able to get back out there. Nothing worse then knowing your tree stand is only 10 minutes away and you can't get in it.

Take your time and be sure you are healed well enough before drawing your bow. It is tough to endure the wait, but a serious setback at this point, would put you out for the rest of the season.
