Patience, patience, patience. Mule deer are pretty spooky after a couple days of being chased. Don't force the issue, especially if hunters are limited. I would invest in a great set of binos and a spotting scope. If it's hot, just wait a buck out, he will eventually get up. I waited on a Muley three years ago for 6 hours to stand up. If it's cold, they need to feed more and will get up earlier in the day. To me, the best thing to do is patern the deer for a few days until you find a good shooter.
