I moved to Miles City Montana about a year ago. this was my first Hunting season as a Montana Resident . It was a good year. Now the freezers are full and I will have a nice European mount for the bare spot on the cabin wall (once I get it cleaned). I am looking forward to next year and the year after etc. I should have moved to Montana years ago. I always enjoy the Eastman's Magazines and am glad I found the forum. lots of good info here.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your success. If you haven't seen it yet, Dan Pickar has a great video on DIY cleaning/prepping skulls for European mounts at http://blog.eastmans.com/diy-european-mount/. I used his method on a Montana mule deer buck I took this year and it worked great.

Thanks everyone, sneakypete yes it did cool off here but that is fine. it was way too warm most of hunting season, HeartElk1 thanks for the link to the video. I had not seen that one . That is what I will do.
