Posted this question in the newbie section, but it was in a response to another welcoming comment and believe its been overlooked.

All the welcoming wishes were awesome! Very much appreciated. I want to subscribe to Eastman's and am primarily a bowhunter, but not opposed to drawing rifle tags here and there, so my question is am I better off getting the EHJ, or the EBJ? Am I going to be missing info by just getting the EBJ? Also what are some thoughts on the new E versions? Is it better to still have on paper, or do the electronic versions suffice?

Thanks again for all the help.

I would suggest getting the combination subscription because we have to put the MRS for rifle and bow in both magazines. If you want every state's info on bow hunts you will need both journals.

I personally like the good old fashioned paper magazines. Then again I'm old school. I like to take them with me into what my wife calls the "library".
I subscribe to both magazines because that way I get one or the other every month, and that gives me more great animals to drool over till hunting season.
I've even had the pleasure of having one of my antelope taken here in NV as the large picture in the succesful hunter section.
I also sent in a pic of my brother's AZ elk and it was also in the succesful hunter section.

I subscribe to both as I hunt with both archery and rifle and find the information in both extremely useful. I work for a paper company that produces high quality magazine paper so I am partial to the print version.

I'm a bow hunter only, but subscribe to both and have the digital version. I like to have a magazine in hand personally but the digital versions are nice just because you can watch the links to videos of hunts and the sponsors. I don't use the MRS at all ( can't afford to hunt out of state) I just like reading about other people's hunts and seeing the awesome scenery and animals they take. You can't go wrong with all three!

I use both, but I really like reading hunting stories. I use the MRS on paper more than the electronic version, but I like the old fashion paper magazine.

I am old school. Paper copies here for me! I get both because I love reading all of the stories and tips!

I have paper copies for both magazines, I use it as a time to step away from technology for a bit, plus I enjoy readying on physical paper than on a device
