Looking for opinions on the scope that comes with the savage youth combo. It is a Nikon BDC 3x9. I called Nikon and they said it is the Prostaff model. Anyone has any problems with theirs? This is on a 7mm-08 rifle. Thanks in advance...

I have that scope on a .270. I think it works pretty good to about 200 yards. It's a clear scope for the price. I wish it had mils instead of the circles for the BDC. When you try to shoot at 300 yards + the circle is as large as the whole target (8 inch plate) and not very accurate. I have a Savage with the Accutrigger which is a huge plus, not sure if the youth model has that.
