New Missouri member

Hello all,

New to elk hunting, we hunt whitetail and turkey in missouri. Took my first trip to New Mexico and Colorado with my wife recently and it was probably a bad thing. It was the most beautiful country I have seen. I am so mad it took me so long to pull the trigger to go. I have a 16 yr old who He loves to hunt and fish. We are reading all the old posts to gear up for next season. Best wishes for a successful 2018 to all of you.

Welcome to the forum! I am in the same boat. I grew up in Maryland hunting whitetail and turkeys, and then came out for my first elk hunt last November. 10 months later I moved to Colorado.
