New Mexico Elk and Antelope Draw

Just to let everyone know, the draw deadline for New Mexico is fast approaching.

March 18, 2011 is the deadline for getting into the Elk and Antelope draws.

I have my fingers crossed for this year. I am 0 for 6 on Elk and 0 for 1 on Antelope so far here in New Mexico. I wish they would adopt a points system like the other western states do

Whats the cost to apply for a non-resident of New Mexico?

New Mexico costs $270 for the tag and $20 for the Non-refundable application fee for a total of $290.

well if you don't draw, I have a landowner tag in a great unit that produces 80+ inch antelopes every year.
