I happy to introduce myself to the fire. Name is Jason and I am from central texas. I am a pure greenhorn to the western big game experience. Will be making my first elk hunting trip in September and absolutely can not wait. Look forward to good conversations here on the forum.

Thanks I have been researching like crazy! My wife said she feels like it is deer season again lol. September can't get here soon enough.

No not a member will check it out though, member of 2-cool fishing forum , haven't bow hunted in 20 years , used to shoot competition 3D tourneys , last bow I owned was a Mathews 3D Vapor , sittin in a case in the barn , was a member of LSBA , do you know if there still around?

Mattdeere I will be hunting the great state of Colorado! Been researching like crazy but just having a hard time putting my finger on a unit to try. I won't be able to scout so word of mouth and endless research will have to do lol .
