I am also from Wisconsin and have found this forum to be an absolutely wonderful resource. The vast majority of the people are honest and knowledgeable. I also enjoy the 'banter' on some threads as well.

Welcome - Your right it's cold here! Minus -10 this morning at my lake home in northern WI. Ice fishing and yote hunting on hold here for a few day's.
