Thanks already for the avalanche of information I've gotten already from reading the posts in this forum!
I am planning my first Elk hunt along with my brother in law for the fall of 2018, and I am hoping to learn as much as I to help make it as successful as possible! I appreciate the resources all of you have been (and I hope continue to be!)
It is ridiculously overwhelming right now. What GMU, drop camp vs backpack, what season, OTC or try limited draw,draw statistics, and on!
Open to any advice, suggestions, or experiences on planning on our first hunt. I hope to someday be able to post some of my own experiences to help someone else as well.
