Hello Eastman's Forum Members. My name is Brendon Edwards. I grew up in Douglas, WY and moved to Rawlins, WY in 2012. I have hunted in many parts of Wyoming for a variety of species. I was lucky enough to call the coveted Elk Area 7 my backyard growing up. Now living in Rawlins I am trying to find new land to hunt and ways to spend more time outside. I am a Welding Teacher so I have lots of time to go scouting and fishing all summer.

Enjoy!

Welcome ! I sure have spent a lot of time around Douglas and Glenrock Antelope hunting and as well as area 7 for Elk. Love that country, looking forward to hearing more !

Welcome to the forum! I live in Rock Springs and teach and coach there as well. Only been in Wyoming 3 years so I am just sort of learning the country as well. I know that south of you down along the border with Colorado has some good hunting for elk and you are close to some of the top trophy antelope areas, if you can draw the tag, in the Red Desert area. If you look at any of the areas out around RS for antelope tags give me a shout on here and I will give you what I know!

Kiwi, where are you headed?
I am flying into Salt Lake City early sept and then driving to dubois. I have a general elk tag and plan to bow hunt. I have applied for a antelope tag, so hopefully get to hunt then in western WY. I have visited most of the western states, but this will be the first time hunting there. Very excited.
