Hey everybody. My name is Tad and I'm from Minnesota. I finally took the time to register officially for the Eastman's forum, even though I have been a subscriber to EHJ and EBJ for years. Although I like to hunt whitetails (bow and gun), western hunting is my true passion. EHJ and EBJ have certainly helped me over the last 2 years in Montana and Colorado on elk hunts. Looking forward to contributing to and learning from the forum. Thanks in advance for all the good information on here.

I am certainly interested in bear hunting in the near future, but not from a tree. Spot and stalk out west in Idaho or Montana has my eye...just need to find the time and right now I can't justify taking it away from elk, muley, and whitetail hunting. But there certainly are some bears up here. I always laugh when I hear about my buddies buying pallets of oreos and peanut butter for baiting!
