Have been lurking on Eastmans for about 6 months now, since I made up my mind to pursue elk in Colorado. Fortunately drew muzzle loader tag for units 42/421 et al. Heading out with my Dad for both of our first time elk hunts. He is 62, and has always talked about heading west to hunt elk, so we are making it happen this year. Just got back from scouting trip, and we are very excited for the season to get here. We have hunted white tail, turkey, and other small game in Iowa; but are stepping it up several levels for our elk hunt!
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help that comes my way from the long time members. I'll be sure to add my two cents into posts when I can.
