Hey everyone, my name is Zach and I am 25 years old, currently living in Arizona. I moved out here 2 years ago from New York and wish I had made it out west years earlier. Iv'e been reading a lot of threads on here lately and figured I should join. I currently work as the Arizona Feral Swine Specialist for USDA Wildlife Services and I'll be heading to Alaska to pack for a guide service this fall. I have been hunting in NY since I was a kid but have now become addicted to all of the opportunities western hunting has to offer. This year I was lucky enough to get my first mule deer and first merriam's turkey out here in Arizona. I am completely hooked on DIY public land hunting out here and my bank account is starting to show it. Looking forward to being a member on this forum with all the great people in here. Currently trying to plan a WY doe antelope or an Idaho Mule deer hunt for this fall, hoping it all works out. Thanks everyone.

I was kidding a little. I have heard that there are a few of them up there and that the BLM will let you know all that they know about them. They are in such a small range it wouldn't take too much to wipe them out, if there are any still up there. I know on another forum that I am on the question of them comes up every now and then.
Not a problem. I really don't know a whole lot about that area up there, but I haven't heard of anyone seeing a pig there recently. I do most of my work at Havasu NWR (where we have the biggest problem), and a good deal of work in the southeastern corner of the state. Eradication is definitely possible for AZ (I know there are probably mixed feelings about it on a hunting page, however). The desert does do a pretty good job at keeping their numbers relatively low in this region though.
