Here it is. I had to sell some stuff and pay a few things off before the wife said yes. But I picked the Yamaha Viking up on Fri. I was able to get all the mods on by today and now I'm ready to give it hell. Now we just need some snow and cold temps so I can go find a lion to put in the bed for the ride out.

28" ITP swamp lite tires
Aluminum wheels
3500 lb winch with remote
Vented windshield
22" led light bar
3" lift kit
Waiting for the Cab Encloser to come in
Heater will be next if it actually gets cold this winter

That thing looks awesome!! I know it never snows in Nevada(Sarcasm) but if you have the means tracks on SxS's are freaking amazing!!!
Well as of that last few years it hasent snowed much at all! Lol

The guy I lion hunt with has tracks and Ya they are awesome. Problem is if you get them stuck you better call in the helicopter to get yourself out. Ha

Nice ride! I think I may be coming down with UTV envy. I have an old Honda 300 4x4, but I did put new Alum. wheels with 6ply radials on it recently, does that count?

Side by sides are fantastic for hunting! They are freezing though even if you have a full windshield and doors. We decided with ours to get an enclosure kit hopefully before next fall cause we froze our butt off with the wind coming in the sides.

Looks like a awesome machine. I like the lift and tire addition.

I have been looking at side by sides and they all look great. What brought you to purchase the Yamaha over the others?

My hunting partner has the Polaris Ranger and I've soent a lot of time in it and I just don't like it. There is no engine brake at all. The thing will just coast down hill if your not on the brakes. Well what happens if the brakes go out? Yikes.

The Kawasaki T Rex are ok but there are some small things I don't like about them too.

The Honda Pioneer seem cheaply made as well as the Colmen ones.

I've had many yamaha atv's in the passed and always liked them so figures it was the best choice for the UTV

IKIC, how much of a lift did you put on? Did those 28" tires affect your bottom end at all? I have a Rhino SE with a 3" lift & 27" tires and I haven't noticed any drop in felt torque. I was going to go with 28's and was advised against it by an "Expert". Just a couple of extra inches of extra lift worked wonders for me in the Rocky hell hole that I hunt. That is a sweet ride you have there.

I researched the tries a TON before going with the 28" tires. And the 28" where the biggest that anyone would use with out the serious consideration of a sheave and slugs. I don't wat to get into the cluch or engine at all so I went with the 28s. To be honest I never drove it with out the 28" so I couldn't say about drop in torque but it has plenty so far in my limited time on it at this point.

I put a 3" Strong Made lift on it. Now I have 15-1/4" clearance in the front and 16-1/2 in the rear. It will clear a 5 gallon bucket from front to back! Now that is some ground clearance. Rocks suck! My buddy just destroyed his A arms on our last lion hunt from a rock that rolled up. He has a Ranger tho and they are pretty low.

Also I think I'm going to put on 1" wheel spacers on the rear for a bit more stability. I've heard no to that the spacers cause strain on the axles so I have to research it a bit more before I decide what to do.

Me and MM will come visit soon with a 30 pack of stones, we'll help test the suspension travel and even test the roll-over hazard if you supply some premium fuel for us!! Total case of Manvious going on here, I'd give my left testy and maybe a liver to have something like that sitting in my yard!!
