I was so impressed with the "old guy" re-introduction started by UH that it inspired me to actually post a New Member introduction. I'm a member of Monster Muleys and BigGameHunt also... But this is definitely the best hunting forum I have found on the net.
I have no idea when I started hunting with my dad... But it was young. I have a fair amount of experience hunting Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and have also hunted Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Louisiana and Maine. I rifle and bow hunt for big game.. and love to chase birds as well. True to my call sign on here - I collect points and have a pretty respectable pile.
I spent 10 years as a Cav officer in the Army and the last 7 working for big oil. I've been in Singapore for the past 4 years which really cuts down on hunting time. On the flip side the one hunt per year that I can get away for is usually a pretty good one. Last year I scored a Dutton LE tag and this year taking my wife on her first real hunt - backcountry Idaho for a little deer/elk combo. We have a 4 year old son who I absolutely can't wait to get out hunting.
