I just left Minot in Dec. after 4.5 years .I am From AZ . Back in the most Beautiful State in the country now.Welcome to the site. I worked in the oil field. Thank God that part of My life is over..I was hauling water and oil. Down here I go to So. Cal and back 5 days a week. What a difference in scenery. Sunshine and Mountains and greenery every day. I had a job in Kenmare but quit before it started. Old trucks and nasty housing in Columbus. I could only stoop so low. Just to let You know there are some great places to live in this country. Kenmare is a cool little town. If You wanna hunt big game seriously every year ,Go outta State. Thats what I did. Montana and Wyoming. Good for birds where You are at and Moose if You could ever draw a tag. Deer sucked with all private land and low #'s. I did hunt Turkey alot between Kenmare and the Hunters den on Hiway 52. Them Coullees are full of them.( and Ticks)Wish I whould talked to you when i was up there, We coulda helped each other. Ever hunt AZ. or N. Mexico ,even eastern Montana holler and I will help. Keep warm.......BOB!

Naturebob your right about one thing super low numbers on deer and the bird hunting is best towards Crosby lots of pheasants that way.
Not big on the turkeys tho. Still beautiful country up this way. Never been to Arizona yet but hopefully in the future! I'd maybe take you up on the elk hunting down there! Thanks for the warm welcome!
