Picked him out this afternoon. Will come home in about 2 weeks.

Going to be a hunting dog or just a family pet?

I plan on taking him hunting but we really don't have the upland birds around here like we used too. Primary reason is family pet.

Jack is home now. He had a rough day. 1.5 hours in the car ride home. Of course he threw up in the travel kennel. He didn't want to leave the kennel when we got home so I brought it in the living room and let him come out on his own. Wasn't long before he came out and blew a shit under the kitchen table. He is resting now.

12 weeks old, 30 pounds. Packing on 4 pounds per week. Vet thinks he will get to 100 pounds.

Great dogs but boy howdy do they ever shed!

For sure. My neighbor is a Vet and she has 2 of them and every time I go over to her house, I see what you mean, especially at this time of year when they start shedding their winter coat.
