Hey guys, new to the forum as a member, but many of my internet searches have led me here over the past few years as I have browsed many topics.

35 with 3 kids, been hunting and fishing as a child with my father the whole way. Been up and down the east coast with friends for many adventures, last season was my first out west (MT) with father. I am now hooked and want to try all sorts of trips. Going to Idaho in 2018 and hopefully many other spots soon. I love the DIY trips/semiguided stuff. Never looking for a trophy, just and adventure and some satisfaction after a good challenge.

Welcome to the forum, I think you will see there is a lot of guide stuff and very helpful people on here. I am in a similar boat, 42 with 4 kids. Originally from Sweden but live in central New Jersey since a few years. I am also on NJhunting.com if you are on that site.

My oldest will be 10 this spring and is working on his NJ hunter safety. We have been out west a few times on both DIY and guided. Planning a deer/antelope DIY trip to eastern Montana in Nov, my Dad will join us too.

We are in Rumson, Monmouth county. Do you fish too? We fish a lot around Sandy Hook, maybe we can get a trip going sometime in the spring or summer. Stripers are almost around the corner.
