New from California, yes some Californians hunt

Hello All,
I'm a 30 yr old dairy farmer from California's Central Valley. I have a passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. I was 28 yards from getting my first archery elk last year in Colorado but couldn't close the deal and now I have the Elk Fever. I've been following the forum for the past 4 years and am now looking to get involved. Local hunting nearby in the Sierra Nevadas has been tough with the huge population of mountain lions in the state. I have hunted out of state the past 4 years in either Colorado or Wyoming. Look forward to being in the forum.

Welcome....I too am a refugee from California. Born and lived there until I was 58. Retired and moved on to a place as close to Heaven as you can get without actually going there...........

Welcome! I spent a good deal of time in the valley also...Lemoore during my past life. Sneaky Pete is another member on here who is most likely just north east of you. Lots of great people and info here.
