New from California (Soon to be Reno)

Hey all. My name is Ryan Hughes. My dad is Tim Hughes, some of you may be familiar with him on this forum. He pointed me in this direction as a way to converse and gain some knowledge.
A little bit about myself, I am 20 years old and I am a college student. I am about to finnish my last semester at Santa Rosa Junior College and then will be transferring to University of Nevada, Reno. I am very excited and I cannot wait to explore some of the hunting opportunities out in Nevada.
I am a hunter, surfer, and rock climber.
I hope to maybe meet some hunters around the Reno area so I could talk shop with some guys when I move out there. Message me if you wanna know the zones I put in for, or have any advice!

I am going to be majoring in Journalism and minoring in psychology. I write a lot of articles and stories about hunting and related issues, so I chose that as a major. Hoping to emphasize in writing for magazines.
