Hey guys, Chuck Long from Arkansas here. I live in the northeast part of the state in a small town called Marmaduke. (if you have been watching the Weather Channel, the flooding that is currently happening is just west of us) I am in my 27th year with our state conservation agency and work in the Education division providing outdoor ed for our youth and adults. I have been blessed with two girls (22 & 24) and our family is very active in our community and church.
I have been fortunate to enjoy a few trips out west, elk and mule deer in CO, deer in NM, antelope in WY as well as almost annual trips to SD for pheasant and to Kansas for turkey.
My goals on these trips are pretty simple - bring home meat for the freezer. I like trophies as much as the next guy but the antelope and mule deer that have came back to AR with me have been excellent tablefare and looking for more. I find it a little difficult to gain info because so many of the websites focus on units for trophies while I would rather just have info on finding a place to bring home an animal or two.
