I am left eye dominant but right handed an have always shot right handed... Considering new bow rig, should I go to a left handed now or stick with what I am use to?

Try left handed. I switched over because as a young kid my dad wouldn't let me get a new bow and made me shoot his lefty. Now my shoulder is all jacked up and I can't shoot right handed anyways.. Anyways switching over isn't that difficult but it does take time. I actually have a lefty PSE EVO for sale if you are interested

I am left handed and right eye dominant, so I shoot right handed. Makes a big difference in being able to see your arrow in flight when you can keep both eyes open to shoot. Good luck with it.

I started a thread on here a while back on the same subject.
I have the same situation.
I switched to a left handed bow a few years ago after shooting right for many MANY years. I stumbled upon some internet articles that made me consider it. Ruttin hit the nail on the head. Shooting right I would get two target images and my brain naturally picked the dominate one when the pressure was on.

I spent several hours and a couple of trips shooting left at the bow shop before I made the leap.
They didn't mind since I ended up spending about $900 before adding everything else.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It took a while to get used to it though.
Make sure you have several months before getting in a hunting situation.
It actually wasn't the mechanics of the shot but rather nocking the arrows that was foreign.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

i dont really hunt with bows so i dont even know where to start.
it would be really cool if it was a wooden bow, but i heard that cost a lot more.
