Can't believe how long it has been since the towers went down! To all that were lost, you are truly missed! Gold bless this nation and everyone that continues to protect it to make it great! Thanks!

I'll never forget that day. I was sitting in my recliner drinking my morning coffee watching Good Morning America. I could hardly believe it! My hunting partner and I were leaving the next am for an antelope hunt in Wyoming. I remember listening to the news in my truck on the way and thinking there would be many more fatalities, thank God there wasn't.

God bless all of the victims and their families. God Bless the USA as my cousin Lee Greenwood sang in his song.

I was driving across country yesterday and there were a lot of folks that spent the day on overpasses holding up "never forget" signs and flying the Stars and Stripes. People like them are what makes America great.

I was working in downtown Boston in the 2nd tallest building in the city. I was at work early that morning, went into someone's office and said a plane hit the world trade center. I thought they were referring to the Boston world trade center which is across from Logan and in its flight path so my first thought was it was a tragic accident. Found out later it was the NYC trade center buildings. Went down stairs and watched some coverage on a brokerage's TV. I do remember thinking Bin Laden. The 2nd plane hit and it was announced those two left Logan, downtown boston/Copley was rush hour at 10am.

After a couple of hours watching TV my roommate and I went outside to a park. Living in South Boston in the general direction of the arriving flight path to Logan, it was very very eerie the silence in the sky except for the occasional fighter jets circling above.

A day or two later coming back from lunch the authorities were raiding the Weston because there were guest with the same last name as you know who.

For those few weeks after it was amazing how calm and respectful everyone was. People were polite, very little honking or aggressive drivers. Maybe the most united this country has been in years.
