wont be long. Idaho's unit 54 and 55 on Nevada border isn't all that far from where wolves are seen very often.

This was in northern washoe, really close to where that wolf for Or took his walk a couple years ago.
Its north western nevada and not enough prey for a pack unless they like jack rabbit or can catch antelope.

I spect there be plenty of mice, groundhogs an other such rodents.
may be slim pickens but I'VE NO DOUBT THERE IS ENOUGH TO SUSTAIN THEM.

Lots of deer in that area. NDOW completed a 10 year coyote and cougar removal there in 2014. Perfect timing, now there are plenty of deer to keep those mangy b's around.

I saw the video of this sighting back in the fall, no doubt a wolf. Heard through the grapevine that NDOW was crapping their pants and doing everything they could to keep the news and video from getting out. Like the Granite/Fox Mtn area needed more predators, the lion problem up there is bad, it used to be one of the top units in the state for mulies. I hope that wolf is long gone but who knows.
