Hi all, just introducing myself. Grew up in Reno and hunted the Pine Forest, Ely, and various chukar spots around Winnemucca. Now I am living in Elko and am excited to be hunting the great areas around here.

Welcome to the forum. The area around Elko and Spring Creek are some of our favorites for hunting, camping and fishing. The Jarbidge area is awsome as well.

Oh, no - you hunt chukars. The uncontrollable, unquenchable desire to chase prison striped grey birds in steep country in hopes of a point and a shot while you are still upright. Welcome to the forum - cool board here some of us chase chukars as well. My sons call it the best way to get into Elk shape.

Welcome and hello to all. Also, a new memeber on this site. Lived in the Tahoe/ Reno area for 13 years. My 2nd big game hunting season. Hunted birds and small critters most of my life. Enjoy fishing and hope to meet new people and exchange info and learn new outdoor skills in a respectable environment. Best of health and hunting to you all.
