Nevada Antelope!

Not sure about that one. I've never had a issue with judging antelopes horn length with the ears. Deer on the other hand yes. They have huge ears in the central area of the start and dinky ears in the western part.
That would make sense as to why even some of the big bucks we chase never look super wide. I had no idea they were larger ears in the central part.

I was thinking the same thing. They might not appear wide but it's the ears apparently

Yep. It has burned a few friends before that had the Mt Rise tag and thought they where getting a 30"+ buck and they where much less.

I remember Mike talking about deer with bigger ears in 1 of his books and passing up some nice bucks because he thought they were alot smaller then they were. Thats what got me thinking about antelope ears.

So then the buck I thought was 27" last year might be pushing 30", central part of NV. Ooohhhh boy!
